Hapstone R2 Black Knife Sharpener
The Hapstone R2 is the ‘ready-to-go’ basic system and, as part of Hapstone's ‘modular platform’, can be configured and upgraded without restrictions. The Hapstone R2 is equipped with the state-of-the-art rotary clamp module and offers the ultimate combination of high precision, extensive functions and scalability. The R2 Standard has two asymmetrically angled universal clamps that can be rotated inwards (for small knives) or outwards (for long knives). The clamps utilise a flexible flat spring and spacer screws to secure knives of any shape, including a full flat grind.

Opti clamps (milled angle clamps) - the latest development from Hapstone for R2 knife sharpeners. Opti is a fusion of Hapstone universal angle clamps (asymmetric orientation) and Hapstone milled clamps (material and clamp shape). Opti clamps use CNC-milled, super-elastic jaws made from a duraluminium alloy with an undercut for flat ground blades.
