CBN metallic

These Ukrainian Premium CBN sharpening stones are metallic bonded, superbly finished and contain a 100% concentration of Cubic Boron Nitride of 50 carats. During manufacturing process, CBN powder is fired into shape with a binder and a copper-tin mixture. This ensures that the abrasive is evenly distributed over the entire width and thickness which ensures a homogeneous grinding pattern and a significantly longer service than CBN stones that are galvanically bonded. The CBN stones are suitable for creating cutting bevels or grinding out nicks on knives, planes and chisels. The manufacturer recommends dry use with an initial wetting with a few drops of oil. The stones are ready for use mounted on an aluminium blank.
