Atoma Diamond Plates

Diamond grinding plates made by Japanese manufacturer Tsuboman are qualitatively leading and superbly processed. A very even and dense grid of monocrystalline diamonds is applied using an electrolysis process, which ensures a significantly more homogeneous cut and way longer service than cheap polycrystalline diamonds that are often used in the trade.

The diamond grinding plates are suitable for creating cutting bevels or grinding out nicks in knives, plane and chisels. They are also a good choice for dressing water stones.

We still recommend water stones for fine-tuning the blade, as the grains of Tsuboman are too coarse here. Please keep the stone before and during use wet as dry use may clog the stone and will not produce a good result.
